How did you feel about yourself prior to joining? What made you decide to join Bushido Fitness?

Before joining I was weight training but felt I was just in a rut and not showing any real difference in my body shape although I was gaining strength. My diet was poor and the training program I had was very repetitive. I would make any excuse not to go.

My wife started going to Bushido Fitness and she was telling me about the training and the different foods you can eat. So I thought I’d give it a go myself.

Had you tried losing weight in the past? What was your experience and how did Bushido Fitness differ?

I’ve never really tried to loose weight, quite the opposite actually. I was weight training and was trying to gain weight. Well muscle actually.

What were your fears and concerns prior to joining Bushido Fitness?

I had no fears as such, but I thought I would struggle with the diet.

What helped you overcome those fears and concerns?

Once I joined and read the nutrition plan I was very surprised at the different foods you could eat. Items I would never associate with diets. ie bread, chocolate.

What obstacles did you face along the way to losing weight?
What helped overcome them?

I was hungry initially, especially on the afternoon as I would normally eat whenever I wanted. But seeing my body shape change on the before and after photos give me a buzz and helped me stay on track.

How do you feel about yourself now?

I’m 45 this year and have never had the body shape that I’ve got now. I eat better than I ever did, My fitness levels are great and enjoy the new me.

There are many options for someone looking to lose weight. What do you think separates Bushido Fitness from other fitness/weight loss groups?

The friendly atmosphere, the food options, the support, the variety in training and no one pressures you, you do things at your pace. There’s no sergeant major type gym instructor screaming at you. Everyone involved is there to help.

How have your new fitness and nutrition habits affected your life?

I eat better than I ever did. My fitness levels are at a good standard. I’m very happy with my appearance and I love training now it’s not a chore anymore.

If you could go back in time and speak to your old self before Bushido Fitness, what advice would you give?

Get there, don’t think about it, just do it. It’s tough at first but you’ll get there with a little hard work. You’ll be amazed at the results you’ll achieve.
